About Pete Langlois

I live in Southern NH with my wife, Diane, and our son Eric. My interest for photography began in a photography class back in High School. I started on a Canon AT-1, a full manual 35mm film camera. Focusing on my career and family life in the years following school I found myself just using P&S type film and digital cameras (Pentax IQ Zoom 160, Canon S45, and Canon SD500). The desire to get back into photography has always been on my mind, so when I had the opportunity recently to purchase a Nikon D50 I took advantage of it. I have enjoyed taking pictures with it and learning as I go. My main interests are military and civilian aircraft, hot air balloons, landscapes, flowers and wildlife. This new hobby has allowed me to spend a lot more quality time with my family as well. They attend air shows, balloon festivals and other events with me.

I am a Hall of Fame member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO) and a press correspondent for the American International News Service and Today's Photographer Magazine.

All of the photos in the various galleries were taken by me and are for sale. Prices range from $5.00 for a 4x6 print to over $200.00 for 30x40 mounted canvas image.
